| This work is the first in the forest series. It was created in the old growth forest in Kentville NS where the pine trees were never cut in over 200 years. It captures the serenity of the moment exactly as I experienced it. There appears to be a surreal stained glass quality emphasizing the quiet splendor of this place on a late fall rainy day. I worked tirelessly while sheltered beneath a canopy of motionless pines to capture the glow behind tall pillars of wood that shielded me from the rain. It was a majestic and spiritual experience just being there again.. |
