Winter Garden, 21 x 32, Mixed Media on Canvas

Perhaps it's the green boughs reaching deeply into the scene that makes this piece work or the pink light bouncing from the center branches of the tiny tree contrasted against the blue gray snow. Whatever the reason, I feel good when it's in sight. There is no apparent composition to speak of and no obvious shape or form. Sometimes we love things that cannot be expressed in ways the other half of our mind can comprehend. Whatever the reason, this work holds my attention in ways that will take a long time to discover, but one day when I do, perhaps I will understand more of what I have created.
